Pre Wedding shoot, Shaftesbury, Dorset, October 2014
This Autumnal pre Wedding shoot was great fun, trying to get Scooby the dog to pose for us proved to be quite interesting! Luckily we had a good supply of doggy treats to hand!
Gold Wedding, Haselbury Mill, November 2014
This was the first Winter Wedding for me, and it was magical. The weather couldn’t have been better, beautiful winter sunshine in the day, followed by atmospheric mist by the lakes in the evening.
Pregnancy shoot, Ringstead bay, June 2015
This was such a fun shoot to do, lovely scenic walks down to the beach, trying to take the photos before the sun set completely so we could still find our way back to the car! Kenzie the dog was very well behaved and was a perfect model for the majority of the photos! We did this shoot just in time before Kim went in to labour and had their beautiful Daughter early, only 4 days after! Congratulations to you both xxx
Hyden PreWedding photoshoot, Hambledon hill Dorset, May 2015
We had great fun doing this pre wedding photo shoot. Hambledon hill is in Dorset which is the Brides’ hometown and also the location where the Groom ‘popped the question’ so it’s really a rather special place for both of them. There was lots of walking involving very steep hills, definitely one of my more adventurous shoots! It was also very windy so keeping a steady hand, let alone footing was quite a challenge once at the very top of the hill!
Hyden Wedding, Child Okeford church followed by Shillingstone house, June 2015
Another Beautiful Wedding with an amazing couple! Both the Bride and Groom were so chilled out on the morning of their Wedding day, I was lucky to get the chance to photograph both of them at their ‘getting ready’ locations as they were in fairly close proximity to each other. We had lots of fun with the Groom and Grooms men, involving a trampoline after a champagne breakfast! The Wedding itself was beautiful and the grounds for the reception at Shillingstone house are idyllic, if ever you get the chance to go to one of their events or even looking for your own Wedding venue, I would highly recommend this as an option www.shillingstonehouse.co.uk .
I was asked by the Blackmore vale magazine to do some event photography at the vintage nostalgia festival in May 2015. It’s such a great festival, with so much to do and see, will definitely go again next year.
Cave Wedding, Sopley Mill, Christchurch, June 2015
Well this Wedding was just incredible! Beautiful venue full of beautiful people. This Bride and Groom had such a roller coaster week on the run up to their Wedding day with their Wedding planner pulling out 2 days before! Leaving them with no flowers, button holes, bouquets, table names, decorations, favours etc. Their friends and family all rallied around and between them created the most stunning setting for their big day. They didn’t let any of this phase them and they were both incredibly calm throughout. They are lucky to be blessed with such wonderful, (and creative) friends and family. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with and I felt honoured to be part of their big day.
Shane Pardoe – Artist – email@example.com
One of the services I can offer is photographing large pieces of artwork for reproduction, they can then be turned into giclee prints. This can work out as a cheaper, safer and sometimes more effective way of reproducing your painting/artwork as opposed to scanning. Shane is a local Dorset artist who’s work is truly outstanding, he works with various forms of medium and is happy to do commission pieces, so get in touch with him if there’s something he can do for you. Here is the photo of his most recent piece which has been accepted in to an upcoming exhibition in Bristol, if you want to purchase one of his limited edition giclee prints at £75 each + postage, drop him a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are an artist looking for reproducing your pieces, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me for more information.
Gold pregnancy shoot, September 2015
I was asked to do some pregnancy photography for this lovely couple, whose Wedding I also had the pleasure of Photographing last year. This shoot was done indoors, using only natural lighting, luckily the weather was on our side and the sun came out for us! Good luck to you both for the impending arrival of Baby Gold xxx
One of my favourite recent still life shots happened by accident! I photograph items for various local companies for to use on their websites etc. My cat decided she wanted to be part of this shot, and I felt it worked rather well!
Russ and Becky’s pre Wedding shoot, Durdle Door
This was a great shoot, we were so lucky with the weather for this one, we timed it just right as the heavens opened just as we were packing up to leave! We had a lot of fun dancing on the beach, I say we, I mean Russ and Becky. Such a stunning location, good choice guys.
Dorset Art weeks 2016
With Dorset Art weeks coming up, I’ve been rather busy photography original paintings and artwork for Artists so they can reproduce their images in to limited edition prints to sell. I always enjoy doing this as I get to see some really amazing pieces of art and it’s really rewarding to see them once they’ve been reproduced as prints. Here are just two examples of the artists I’ve been working with over the last couple of weeks…..

Vintage Nostalgia Festival 2016
This was my 4th visit to this Festival and my 3rd time doing event photography for them, and I can quite honestly say it’s one of my favourite festivals to photograph. There is always such a lovely vibe that it never feels like I’m actually working, and being a photographer there is a great reason to meet lots of lovely happy people.
8th of April 2016, Robyn and Prasoon’s Wedding
Robyn and Prasoon had such a colourful and vibrant Wedding at Kingston Country Courtyard. Their Indian inspired day was Beautiful from start to finish and was a real pleasure to photograph.
Russ and Becky’s Wedding day, 23rd July 2016
Russ and Becky had a great Wedding Ceremony at the Church, inspired by Becky’s love of teaching, the service involved all of the guests dancing and singing. Not your usual hymn choices. Followed by a VW campervan ride to their Reception in Sherborne where there was lots of fun and garden games.
Pre Wedding shoot at Stourhead gardens
Adam and Joanna’s Pre Wedding shoot was in the stunning grounds of stourhead gardens, which is where Adam had proposed to Jo a year ago to the date. So even more romantic and meaningful. We had a lot of fun throwing leaves at each other on this beautiful Autumnal shoot.
